Kimplas Valve hood is always recommended to encompass & protect valves installed on buried drinking water supply pipes. It keeps soil, sand, mud away from the buried valve.

Kimplas Valve Hood consists of main body and closing lid, both in round shape. The body and lid have inlet and outlet windows through which the pipe passes through.The lid is fixed to the body with 4 No. clips provided in place. The clips are removable. The lid and body has a provision to fit rubbergrommetsofsizeofthepipetobe fitted in the window.

The material of construction of the lid and body of the valve hood is weather resistant PP. The material is safe to be buried in soil or exposed to sun. Kimplas Valve hood in its properly installed-position, is designed to take load of human traffic and small vehicular load that usually appear in residential areas. Kimplas Valve Hood must be installed as per Installation Manual.
